U.S. Security as Luxury Disposal of Garbage ?!
Dear visitors to my website!
Any time I have to pass the security checks at an airport, I notice that a vast array of perfumes, drinks, food, and many other things have to be thrown into the garbage since security forces are asking for it. It does not make any difference whether I fly to Florida or on the way back home.
In addition to the normal customs regulations please find following a summary of the most important rules. Already for quite some time it has not been allowed to import unsealed comestibles into the US.
You should not carry in your hand luggage anything that could be used as a weapon, no matter if ice pick, scissors, pocket knife, razors or other sharp objects. Also cigarette-lighters are not supposed to be carried on board. Liquids and gels in hand luggage must not exceed three ounces, and have to be transported in rectangular, transparent plastic bags with zipper. If for medical reasons you require a higher amount of liquids you would have to register ahead of time and justify towards the security forces.
Any larger amount of liquids and all other objects not being qualified to be carried within the cabin should be handled by the airline company.
Please make sure that your passport is machine-readable and valid for the return flight.
